Kids “Fun”ctional Fitness Classes
Combining the things kids love; activity & games. We like to have fun so by doing cardiovascular work with games kids will just have fun trying to tag someone else to be “it” not realizing they are doing a “workout”.
Kids will also learn the technique and basics of functional movements such as squats, deadlifts and other lifts. Not to worry though, we won’t be getting these young guns to lift weights until they have reached an age where it is safe for their growing bodies (typically 13/14years old).
Our Kids functional fitness classes welcomes ages 6-13 and are approximately 45-60min long.
CrossFit Level One Instructor
Carly has been teaching CrossFit since her certification in January of 2014. Carly loves the ability to train multiple people at once and the freedom that CrossFit training allows. She was able to still train while she was pregnant!

What is CrossFit?
CrossFit begins with a belief in fitness. The aim of CrossFit is to forge a broad, general and inclusive fitness. We have sought to build a program that will best prepare trainees for any physical contingency — not only for the unknown, but for the unknowable. After looking at all sport and physical tasks collectively, we asked what physical skills and adaptations would most universally lend themselves to performance advantage. Capacity culled from the intersection of all sports demands would quite logically lend itself well to all sport. In sum, our specialty is not specializing.
CrossFit is many things. Primarily, it’s a fitness regimen developed by Coach Greg Glassman over several decades. He was the first person in history to define fitness in a meaningful, measurable way (increased work capacity across broad time and modal domains). CrossFit itself is defined as that which optimizes fitness (constantly varied functional movements performed at relatively high intensity). CrossFit is also the community that spontaneously arises when people do these workouts together. In fact, the communal aspect of CrossFit is a key component of why it’s so effective.
CrossFit has a worldwide network of more than 5,500 affiliated gyms and more than 35,000 accredited CrossFit Level 1 trainers. And, have created the Sport of Fitness, known as the CrossFit Games, where they crown the Fittest Man and Woman on Earth.

Do I need to be in shape to do CrossFit?
NO! You may very well be fit, but that does not equal CrossFit. Start at your own pace; at your level of fitness today. Your trainers will help you achieve the level of health you wish to attain.
I heard that CrossFit is dangerous?
You can injure yourself in any activity. CrossFit is more safe than many activities people perform every day. We have our members work in stages: mechanics (learning how to do the movements with correct technique), Consistency (the ability to do the movements over and over again with safe and relatively efficient technique), Intensity (the speed at which you do the movements). We do not rush through one stage to get to the other, safety comes first.
Will I always work with a trainer?
YES! a trainer will be on the floor during every class. We are there to guide you through constant, repetitive tutorials ensuring proper movement patterns. To help you attain the fastest possible results without sacrificing your body.
Can anyone join CrossFit?
Yes! CrossFit is for anyone and everyone. We structure our classes to ensure universal scalability to suit any body’s needs. Functional movements are a universal language that every body speaks, from the young to the young at heart CrossFit will benefit all.
Why is CrossFit so expensive?
We feel that the prices adequately reflect the quality of training you will receive. When you experience the value of always having a coach watching you, other members pushing you and the fitness you’ll achieve, our rates are actually less expensive than any other group led workouts. The reality is with the quality of instruction you get from our trainers, it is personal training at a fraction of the cost.
